The notice board was never really enough.
- Crew receives second-hand information
- Shore teams are too busy to maintain boards
- The PC in the ship’s office isn’t accessible to everyone
- Pushing information onto a screen doesn’t mean it’s actually received
SeaDance was built to solve all of this by replacing fragmented, outdated communication methods with a single managed platform that reaches every crew member, in real time.

SeaDance · Inform
A New Standard for Ship Communication
Purpose-built for maritime environments, the Loft Kiosk turns any common area into a dynamic, managed ship communication system — delivering real-time updates, safety content, BI data, and entertainment from a single screen. The hardware are maritime-grade: purpose-built digital control units with offline playback, long lifespan, warranty cover, and seamless integration with the SeaDance content strategy.
Screens are fully programmable with remote administration, enabling real-time fleet-wide updates without the need to physically go on board. HSQE, HR, and Technical shore teams publish, schedule, and track content from a single dashboard. FrontM acts as an extended content operations arm — managing all programming so internal teams aren’t stretched further. A 300-reel content bank with a live news feed is refreshed monthly, with expertly designed branded reels delivered with minimal effort from internal teams.
The Loft Kiosk installs in the areas crew actually use: mess room (one or two screens), alleys, and common passages, the ship’s office, engine control room, and the bridge.
What the Touch Screen Can Do
Beyond broadcasting information, the Loft Kiosk is an active working tool. Six use cases cover the full range of operational and engagement needs:
”One platform to communicate, engage, and optimize ship operations — from safety compliance to crew entertainment, managed entirely from shore.

SeaDance · Entertain
Live IPTV & VOD at Sea
Unlike personal OTT services, Loft Multiplex is a business subscription for maritime entertainment systems designed for communal crew viewing in public spaces to improve crew welfare. Ship owners receive a single license covering the whole vessel — with live channels and offline VOD optimized for satellite connectivity. Transcoding runs at 600–900 Kbps to work across VSAT and LEO connections. Setup is plug-and-play: the Android MDM device is cybersecurity compliant, remote-managed, and connects to any existing smart TV on board.
The channel lineup is curated for the diverse nationalities of maritime crew, spanning news, sports, national, international, and offline VOD categories — covering the range of languages, interests, and backgrounds found on any working vessel.

Getting Started
Purchase & Implementation
SeaDance is delivered as a managed, end-to-end rollout — from onboarding through to fleet-wide deployment and ongoing content operations. The four-stage process keeps the burden off internal teams at every step:
-
1Remote Installation & OnboardingEnd-to-end logistics managed remotely. Shore stakeholders are onboarded to the CMS with standard workflows — no specialist on-vessel technical visits required.
-
2Content Creation & ValidationBranded video content is created and deployed to kiosks to demonstrate speed and production quality. QR code and touch-screen workflows are configured and validated during the trial period.
-
3Trial Reporting & RecommendationsDetailed trial reporting is delivered with performance data, insights, and prioritized recommendations for next steps and wider rollout.
-
4Fleet-Wide Managed RolloutFull fleet installation initiated under a fully managed program. Ongoing operationalization includes stakeholder training, content creation, screen programming, and regular reporting — with FrontM as your extended team.
One Platform. Total Ship Connect.
From the bridge to the mess room, SeaDance keeps every crew member informed, engaged, and connected — managed entirely from shore.
